I spend a lot of time out on the town.
I have spent countless afternoons shopping for the latest fashions.
I have covered mile upon mile of New York City on foot searching for the perfect shoes.
I have partied into the wee hours of morning far too many times for my own good.
When I am out and about, I happen to see a lot of people.
I hate to admit it, but I have always paid attention to the clothes people wear and the accessories they use.
Honestly, I fear it is becoming a bit of a problem.
As of late, it seems that no matter where I go someone is carrying a lunchbox.
At first I just thought that it was cool again for people to take their lunches with them when they left the house.
But then I started seeing them in magazines, in fashion shows, in music videos.
People just couldn't be eating that much!
It took me a while to clue in to what was happening.
It seems that the lunchbox has replaced the traditional handbag in certain quarters.
What is it about the lunchbox that those people seem to love so much?
Is it the inherently utilitarian design?
Is there some form of nostalgia at play?
The more I thought about it, the more I realized that I had to have one of my own.
The only problem was how to decide on the right one for me.
How does one go about finding a lunchbox that properly expresses their individuality?
What if I made a mistake?
What if my lunchbox told the world something other than what I intended?
What is a girl to do?
I finally decided on one of the retro lunchboxes.
They are supercool!
At first, I thought I might want one with cartoon characters on it.
Strawberry Shortcake was my first choice, but I don't wear a lot of pink and decided against it.
Then I saw one that had Cheech and Chong on it, but I figured I would be stopped by the police every few blocks with that one.
Then, I found the one for me!
It was a Ramones lunchbox, with a cartoon drawing of the band on the lid.
If am not mistaken, that was the artwork from one of their albums.
I absolutely love my new purse?.I mean, lunchbox.

A few months ago, I decided I was overdue for a proper vacation.
The last time I had been away for any length of time was five years ago.
After my first year of university, my parents generously sponsored me to go on a European tour.
I visited eight countries in fourteen days, and slept in youth hostels the entire time.
The only luggage I brought with me was my trusty backpack.
Following the advice of some more seasoned travelers, I sewed a Canadian flag on my backpack.
Everyone loves Canadians, eh!
This trip was to be somewhat different.
I have decided to go back to Europe, but this time I will be traveling in style.
I am planning to take a first-class flight into London, and I am in dire need of some first-class luggage.
Luggage is such a difficult thing to shop for.

To me, there is only one reason to buy a replica or designer inspired handbag....it's because if you paid $450.00 or more for that authentic Vuitton Monogram Papillion 30 bag you wouldn't have enough money for that Prada, or that Fendi, or that Chanel. Let's face it, for most of us purses are as important and exchangeable an accessory as our shoes. One pair of shoes will never do, and one handbag won't do either!
